Not sure where to post this.  I was hoping some of you could help me with this.  I want to get Jeff Becks live performance on blue ray:

I have no idea what format the music is in.  I wanted to get the music in a CD or Hi Res format if I can.  How do I do this?  Can I simply put it into my Mac Mini and download the music off the blue ray disc?  Thanks.

The same performance is also available on DVD.  Would it be easier downloading music off of  DVD.

  I assume you mean "rip" instead of "download" and "blu-ray", not "blue ray".  If so, please go here for a guide:

I'm guessing the audio tracks on the blu-ray are better than the tracks contained in the dvd...but I don't know for sure.

Dracule, You mean "rip" not download.  And while Blu-Ray ripping is not a difficult task it's way easier to rip this off the DVD (assuming it has a dedicated stereo layer) because the Blu-Ray has only 16/48k resolution on this disc anyway.  Too bad, Blu-Ray audio can be up to 24/192k.

To rip the DVD go to my primer on ripping hirez off DVD (in this case, DVD-Video, not DVD-Audio).
