Julietta Revisited

I had a great experience Thursday and Friday setting up the Julietta arrays for a customer in CT just north of NYC. Kudos to Jeff Meier of AccuCal for his outstanding work! Nice to meet someone who understands what needs to be done for optimizing a HT / Music system. GIK also provided some nice room treatment panels.

Two powered JL Audio F113's were added and I designed the Tre CC center channel to blend well with the arrays. A few things noted...

1) Superior tonality and clarity of the arrays plus dynamics without the coloration of horn / waveguide / large midbass systems.

2) Rendition of soundstage and image depth beyond what's possible with just a simple open back midrange.

3) Total control of the room's bass quality with DSP and active powered subwoofers. For reference quality bass the only way to go.

Simply the best sound that I've ever heard from speakers I designed in a customer's home!

Proud Papa! I'm glad they found a good home.

If you weren't so technically qualified and didn't have such high integrity you could be an audio reviewer. Such eloquent prose!

Thanks for the props Rick.  I really love your line arrays.  I was blown away after working on a set of Alexandrites a few years ago.  The Juliettas continue my love affair.

It was also fun to finally meet their creator.   8)
