sorry if there is  already a thread for this if so I missed it.

Looks like w4s has a music server to be released in the near future. I haven't been able too find much about it. Does anyone have any links or know a msrp?

Looks like many of the same features the Salk Stream has.  The Stream plays higher resolutions if need be.

Anyone know prices on the Salk units? Anyone heard them or seen a review?

They are in the $1200ish area as a streamer less HD I believe.  Jim is in the midst of finalizing some cool apps/add-in code right now.  You can order one with a HD installed as well.  I think his will go to 384 but who has content there?  No display that is an RF generator.  You can control with your PC via network or Android-based handhelds.  He showed me his cell phone doing it and his iPad.

I saw the Salk in action on the Capital Audiofest.  When I have more stuff digitized (just got the new PC and have lots stuff to migrate and choices that will take a bit), it is certainly something to consider

I own a Sonore unit and would recommend it highly.  I had it configured to provide software upsampling to 384.  It also converts DSD files (.dff) on the fly to 352.8.  Sounds much better than my previous Mac/Pure Music front end.
