http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882981006&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL092211&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL092211-_-EMC-092211-Index-_-HomeAudioSpeakers-_-82981006-L0H

some good reviews, a little damping in the woofer section, maybe a few caps swapped... Already pretty good at the original $1500 retail. Tempted to get a pair just out of curiosity...

Yeah there's a discount code for $300 off each though. The link that sent me there was for $599 the pair. There's a couple recently purchased reviews listing 600 as the purchase price for the pair as well..

Edits- here's the email flyer-http://promotions.newegg.com/neemail/sep-0-2011/autumndeals22/index-landing.html?nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL092211&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL092211-_-EMC-092211-Index-_-E0C-_-Elec#Elec

amazon is showing them too now, though not in stock, must be ordered

More edits- the email flyer says you must be subscribed to the news letter to use the codes, no prob as there a sign up at the top. Worth it, newegg always has some good deals going.

That promo works....it is just $599 a pair...but I somewhow don't find this design as attractive as their traditional offerings.  ML has become somewhat sort of a mass marketing speaking company pumping and dumping their wares throughout many sites be it Newegg or AudioAdvisor....and honestly, do you really think that their MSRP are real?  It feels as if they simply set it in order to slash it beyond believe to attract tire kickers and bargain hunters.  Is it possible that the entire pair of speakers would truly be worth something like $1K a pair real retail so, $600 might be a more realistic price but not a world ending discounted price.  There is more and more of this type of thing going on with once formidable manufacturers.
