As far as the contents of the show... I forgot why I quit watching it... Now I remember.

So it wasn't their strongest performance honestly. I thought lotus flower was down right terrible. I've seen them at Red Rocks Ampitheater a few times and they certainly put on a better show than they did on SNL.

Yeah, doing Staircase as their second song was kinda nice, but Thom was wayy off, IMO, on Lotus Flower..up until the end.  it seemed kinda strained or lifeless.

Me too, but my gauge (especially for Radiohead), doesn't equate 'expected better" with "stunk the place up".  I think Staircase was very good.  How about normally clean cut Ed O'briens new look; part Thom facial hair, part Jonny long bangs.  And they continue like they did on the recent Live From the Basement...two drummers.

I thought they were okay, the rest of the show was just awful though. The cast had been improving last year so I was definitely expecting more in the season premiere.

I just don't think it was the "A-Game" the venue typically generates. I wouldn't be proud of it, comparitively speaking.

I thought the actual performance was OK ( Thom's falsetto was letting him down during Lotus Flower but at least they weren't doing the Ashlee Simpson thing ) and I like the idea of adding a second drummer vs. playing along to drum tracks. I just find I'm struggling to connect with their most recent music ( no, I'm not one of those that wants them to make The Bends over and over again ) and to a certain extent, with them  as well.
They're doing a one-hour Colbert Report on Monday night.

They're doing two shows this week at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan. Small venue, very intimate.
