groundside interconnects BCD-BDA-BP26

HI all,

Vandenhull states on their website http://www.vandenhul.com/p_B09.aspx that "In unbalanced operation the two internal conductors can simply be taken together with the shield acting as the signal return, though the better and preferred layout (which we apply) has the shield only connected to signal ground at the signal source side (marked by a ground-end marking sticker) " .

ALso on http://www.vandenhul.com/userfiles/docs/Ground-End_Marking_Stickers.pdf.

How would this translate for the connection between the BCD to BDA to BP26? DO I have to take the machines 2 at a time a see their respective 'sources' or have to look at the whole chain, and how then to act between the BDA, both ways?

I  have the groundmarker on my BCD side, in the connection to the BDA. (hope it is correct, since I had it made especially ended with the BNC connector for the BDA.)

Im confused because my dealer explicitly stated that the ground markers had to be on the 'receptor' side. Since the source seldomly is the receptor......

Greetings,
Marius
