No the PP are not SST2.

Hi Rakesh - if you're considering buying anew 4B-SST2 + PP300 for L/R/C, you might as well go for teh 6B-SST/2 (essentiually a 3ch 4B-SST/2)and be done with it.  The 6B's have extremely good resale value on the used market, so if you ever decide to change it up again you can get top buck for it.

That is the path that I took.  Started with 3B-SST, added a 6B-SST; much later added 7B-SST x2.  The 6B is a real "tank" of an Amp.

I just received an excellent offer to buy 2 years old mint condition 14 BSST-SQ. Combined with PP, total price will be very very close to 6B SST-SQ.

PP300 will be perfect for center (which is a smaller speaker than front LR) and 14 will be way too good for front LR for stereo and movies.

3B SST-SQ will be for surrounds.

What do you think?
