We always like to provide a head's up when any price increases are on the horizon.  It has been a while since we have taken a close look at our pricing.  Parts costs and finishing supply costs have risen quite a bit over the last year, and it is now time to take a fresh look.

At this point, I do not know which specific models will be affected and by how much. I will probably not know until just before July 1st.  I do know that SoundScape prices will go up.  The introductory pricing that has been in effect since the SoundScape introductions turned out to be extremely optimistic.  So I would expect these prices to increase 10 - 20%.  Other than that, I don't know much at this point.

Yeesh - probably more of this to come in high end.  Economy providing much less salary and discretionary income in general, and at the same time the massively deflated dollar is showing up in raw material inflation for manufacturers.  Oh well - maybe the age of the headphones

Yes, the falling value of the dollar has a good deal of impact on parts costs.

Well, despite the best of intentions, I still have not found the time to go through our pricing completely.  So it may take a little while longer to sort this out.  I will probably do it in stages with the SoundScapes coming first in a few days.  Other speakers will follow.

They way I read that is: KEEP ordering speakers so that Jim doesn't have any time to actually increase their prices     

The guys at work do the same kind of thing to me...  keep me talking at the end of break time so I don't call them back to work for an extra minute or two.
