Hello,

I recently purchased a Powerpac 60 to amplify the centre channel of my home theater (Bowers and Wilkins Nautilus HTM2).  I was previously using a Rotel RSX-1067 receiver to power all speakers, but switched to a Rotel pre/pro with Rotel stereo amps powering my fronts and rears.  While I am a fan of Rotel amps delivering a good performance/value option, I can't say enough about the little Bryston Powerpac.

 It has no trouble keeping up with more powerful amps and has a very warm and clean sound.  While I realize you would sell a lot more of your larger more costly amps, I just wanted to thank the folks at Bryston for making such a great product for the money.  I am really blown away and will definitely look to Bryston when it is time to replace my current equipment.

I really like the PowerPacs.  I think they're the forgotten products in the lineup.  I had a very good offer to buy some PP120s a while back. I'd have attached them to my speakers, but they're rear ported and the PPs would have covered the port due to the layout.  A shame, really.  They'd have sounded great.

Used the PMC IB2 with speaker cables to a Crown Reference amplifer for awhile.  Ordered the mounting screws to activate the IB2s with Bryston Powerpac 300 and that is the end of the story really a good investment.   Much better speaker/amplifer interface.  Highly recommend.

I take slight issue with the email clean/warm = good for Rotel, warm/clean = good for B&W, Bryston what you put in you get out!

I've been using five power packs for everything from a conventional 5.1 system to PA system since 1996.

Right now three are powering subwoofers and two are handling rear channel duties.

They're virtually indestructible, very quiet, and I can carry two at a time...

I really like them too.  I had a couple (of 120W ones) at one point years back and ended up selling them for slightly more than I paid.  I was using them to test cables I was making with the intent of using it in the basement system when I finished the basement.  The basement project took lots longer than I planned.  Wish I didn't sell them now.

Like 99% of other basic power amps, the Powerpack 120 does not have a volume control.

It does have a Bal/unbal switch as well as a ground lift switch.

Also you can bolt it to stuff
