Topic says it all. What is the C series and how does it differ from the regular Bryston product?

Hi,

C Series was for Consumer Series and was the first of the SST models.  The newest version is C -Series SST-2.

James, might just be me but this "C" designation is a little confusing and I may be wrong but is not in the end just tied to "C" for consumer faceplate as opposed to the more industrial looking faceplate?

Are there not SST2 amps out there somewhere that have the old style faceplate with the squared corners and edges - I believe that these are the "pro" models?

Pro units are different - they have 3 piece 19 inch black faceplates only with volume controls in the circuit path of each channel as well as rack mount holes.
