My neighbor has an old AU pre. I think it is the first A series. It's never been upgraded in 25 years. Re-tubed but otherwise stock. Can anyone recommend someone who does nice work for this and not too expensively? European would be better than state-side but since it's a light unit, it can be shipped to USA. Better caps etc. and remove the phone stage from the circuit, decent rca sockets. That kind of thing.
