Ortofon Concorde / MC200 on JVC QL-Y5F

Hi Folks
I recently picked up a brand new Ortofon MC200 cartridge - it is the integrated model, shaped and designed like the concorde cartridges.
When I went to mount it about a week ago, I found that the mimimum overhang adjustment provided mounting to stylus distance of around 50mm (ish).... where the JVC required 48mm.
Does this make sense?
Has anyone tried the Concorde style integrated cartridges on a JVC QL-Y5F (or similar 48mm adjustment table?)
thanks
David

Hi David,
It is what it is. I think you should use one of those straight line protractors and see where the nulls are. Any 2 points between 60 and 121 would be a "good" alignment. Past that, I'd get out the hacksaw.

Been thinking of that....
Alternative is someone who has an old MC200U/TMC200 or MC100U/TMC100 without stylus - the styli on these are removeable / exchangeable
Sigh
