Do you have a favorite DVD brand?  On my Liteon drive I just flatly can't seem to get any discs burned with my newest batch of Prodics to work.  Prime [brand name] discs work great.  Man, it's really frustrating to run into compatibility issues like that!  :banghead:

Hi Bob,
I have been using Maxell's lately, and they are supposed to be very good, if you get the made in Japan ones, which are actually made by maxell.

Quote from someone at the dvdr forum:
Be sure to look for the yellow DVD-R's in blue shrinkwrap (Made in Japan), they're genuine Maxell 4X discs. Apparently the green top DVD-Rs are Ritek G03's, good but not AS good.

Office max has a buy one, get one free deal for a 15 pack of these for $27 right now, the coupon code in the ad is 51101750

The problem is that I only buy inkjet printable ones.  I can get Prime DVD-rs for $.85 each, but there's mail order turnaround time.

Man, the "DVD M" discs, as I call them, sound just amazing!  :thumb:
