I just scored an extremely rare pair of klipsch speakers for my living room, where these dx-55s were supposed to go, so I really can't use them now. These started out life as dx-65 drivers but had the magnets swapped out with some lightly used magnets from dx-55s. They are 8 ohms, aluminum voice coils and have the high-ferric coating.
I've also recently learned that the Fostex BK-16 flat pack cabinets make great enclosures for these if you want a simple, inexpensive set of cabinets for them Madisound sells the flat-pack bk-16s for $148 each.
Price is $850 shipped and insured in conus, and no paypal fee to the buyer. They are absolutely new, have never been mounted, and are in their original boxes.
