Live sound.

Hi folks. Need suggestions on what to look at for a 4 (to maybe eight) channel PA system that'll handle garage/basement band grunge with drums for not too much coin. Instruments are covered. Just need for vocals. Do the all-in-ones have enough power?

Thanks.

I just saw your post sorry, yes the all in ones can do it-just get one thats big enough.
Is this a serious band, seriously or a serious band this week??
These things are not cheap, even the all in ones, JBL has a nice package and have been making them and selling a ton of them for years- for live sound JBL needs to be looked at. After the portables-and they get pretty extravagant your looking at separates.
I have used Sweetwater for years...solid company, not going anywhere and they have very knowledgeable staff.

Thanks. Ended up with a Yamaha EMX312SC powered mixer and a pair of Peavey PR12s. Sounds great and is easy to use.
