Kim wanted a pair of SongTowers with rosewood front baffles and the remainder of the cabinets done in black satin.  He also had a special request.  He wanted stainless steel fasteners rather than the flat black ones we normally use to mount the drivers.

Here is a picture...

For some unknown reason, the fasteners reminded us of studs on a leather jacket.  We envisioned a speaker with rows of "studs" running from the top of the cabinet to the bottom.  Maybe someday...
Here is a close-up...

Happy listening Kim!

I have had the pleasure of meeting Kim and have seen his STs close up. I can say for a fact that the pictures do not do them justice. The finish is incredible and the choice of black with the Rosewood baffle is very nice. The stainless hardware looks great as I was thinking of using the same screws in black. Of course the STs sound incredible being powered by a pair of Emotiva UPA-1 mono blocks. A very nice system in a room that I would love to have :). Its about time some guys from Maine had some fancy gear compared to all those Cheese Heads from WI :green:.

Those stainless steel screws on the drivers remind me of "halo" LED lighting around headlights (wish my "05" Dodge Magnum had them but are a now a stock item for the new Dodge Charger  ). I can't help but like them myself and they seem to complement the loudspeaker as a whole.  :thumb:
