*** price drop (new, this will cost you $800) ***Selling my Dayens ampino. Unit is in great condition, clean, no issues whatsoever. I have the original box. This is the model with the upgraded caps as per Lee's post below.

I also just uploaded new pics to the audiogon ad, so hopefully they are a bit better now.

Price is $475 shipped in conus with no paypal fee to the buyer.

Stupid good price on an EXCELLENT amp. I have one and LOVE it. If I needed a second one, this would gone in a heartbeat. C'mon someone, take a plunge you will NOT regret.

I agree with the last two posts, wholeheartedly. Jim, is there any way to verify whether this is the upgraded parts unit or not? That might help the sale.

Dave, Lee, and Michael -- thanks for the bumps and kind words. I don't believe it is the latest model, but as to whether it has been upgraded or not, I honestly don't know how to tell. I don't know what to look for and where -- I know it's some caps, but not sure which ones. I've never opened the amp, but will do so and ask my wife to telll me what she reads if I can point her to the right components.

I do know it has the knurled metal binding posts, and I believe that makes it the original version, but the knob is fine, not like some people complained about.

Maybe Lee knows how to tell. I do think it was just a cap upgrade.

I am pretty sure it is the upgraded version with the Mundorf caps.

Thanks, Lee. I've updated the audiogon ad, and the text above as well, and have uploaded new pics to the agon ad, so hopefully they're a bit better this time.
