I posted this in vinyl also. I have the clarinet connected to an MMF 5 phono with ground lug attached to lug on Jasmine solid state phone preamp. I also tried a ground jumper from clarinet to jasmine-- still hum. I tried all interconnects shielded except mmf 5 that are fixed. The clarinet is dead quiet with CD player. The hum with the turntable is very noticeable at about half volume on the clarinet. Help please!

Serious hum begins at half volume ???

Its the MC setting on the Jasmine the hum at MM setting is almost a non factor until near full volume. I guess I need an SUT for my dl103R any opinions???

Try moving the Jasmine away from other equipment.

The jasmine was to close to the transformers on the 300B's.  Thanks
