Does anyone have a solution for my 5 year old roger@ram........ email other than abandoning it and making a new one. It's my experience that any email address gets pretty junky after a few years.

I've found that gmail does a really good job of filtering spam.  Especially if you use the web interface to read your email.  You mark messages as spam and it learns pretty well what your preferences are.  That, together with hundreds of thousands of people also marking what is and isn't spam is very powerful.

Roger, if I were you I would register for a Google Apps account:

http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/business/gmail.html

You can ask your domain name registrar to point mail MX records towards Google, and thus you could send and receive email through your ramlabs-musicreference.com domain but using Google Apps to do it.

Alternatively, you could transfer the registrar to either GoDaddy or eNom and manage the domain through Google Apps itself.

Would be pleased to help you out here if you need it.

thanks, write me at ramtubes@gmail.com, put "audiocircle member wants to help" in the subject line.  This goes for everyone.
