Just a quick blip;
We had a small
VMPS/Wywires GTG last Sunday.
In attendance was Russtafarian from OC, Shaukat from Simi Valley, Alex from
Wywires in the Valley, and myself. All VMPS owners. Between us we have
over 20 VMPS Speakers or subs.To start Russ who has never heard the infamous "
Listening Chamber" sat through a few reference cuts. My 2 channel system is like "
Headphones on Steroids" with a Soundstage.
Then we tripped up Beverly Glen (the scenic route) and over the Hill to Alex's place where he has a wonderful Macassar Ebony pair of
RM30's with CDWG's and powered by tubes. Even though they are RM30c's they have some nice low bass in his room.
Shaukat had his first opportunity to hear
VMPS w/tubes and
CDWGs and I'm sure he was impressed.
Shaukat and I then departed and went back to my place so he could hear the 2 channel system with Alex's
Wywires. His system is very similar to mine in 2 channels including the components and wires.

In fact he has now borrowed the whole set of
Wywires for a week to see if they do the same magic on his system.
All in all, a lot of listening and a lot of fun.
