FryBaby > Clarinet > Power Amp Question
« on: 14 Mar 2011, 03:22 pm »
When using a FryBaby to burn in a Clarinet, I realize the Clarinet needs to be powered on; but

1) Does the Clarinet need to be connected to a power amp during this process?
2) If so, does the power amp need to be on also?

Thanks! I just finished building one for my son as a graduation present. It tests good both on the bench and in my system and the FryBaby is feeding it now.

This week I start on my second board, which will be mine to keep.

So far, so good. Glad I bought two before they were gone.

you can burn the clarinet in a # of ways with the power off too, and with it unplugged & off the rack.

I'll send the frybaby signal into the iec inlet, rca jacks, fuse (if possible), switch, etc for a few days & then turn it on & run the signal through it a few more days under normal operation.

i wish my dad used a frybaby
