Steve Martin is a great banjo player. He has always played during his gigs, even on Saturday Night Live.

If you're just finding it now, you're in for a treat.  :thumb:

Steve Martin is a better banjo player than an actor/comedian, and I enjoy his acting.

Steve and his band The Steep Canyon Rangers were on The Colbert Report a couple of weeks ago. He was promoting their new album and they did a song. They're a very good band.  :dance:

I saw him in Boston on his Let's Get Small tour, geez must have been around 1978? 20,000 people  were there for the comedy as he was a bright new star... but the entire first half of the show was solo banjo.
