B100SST Question
« on: 15 Dec 2010, 08:08 pm »
I couldn't find anything on this so thought I would ask here.  Is the amplifier section of the B100 bridgeable?  I know there is no switch but I seem to remember seeing the diagram for bridging two channels of the 9B and thought it might be possible.

Is it possible to use the B100 in a biamped configuration?  If so what other Bryston power amps could be used.  I assume the 2bsst is the natural mate.  what about the 3 or 4bsst?  Also what about the new squared models?

thanks

As long as the poweramps used have the same gain as the B100 you can use any amp. For instance 28B for the bass and B100 for the mid/treble. Or, you can use vertical biamp (one amp drives only one speaker) with a 2BSST.

Yes all Bryston amps have the same gain so they can be intermixed without issues.
