Very Rare Mariah LS-3a speakers with Dynaudio Tweeters and Carbon Granite Muller Cone
Woofers w/Rubber surrounds. . The LS-3a’s are from the early 80's and had quite a following when built. This set was owned by the Designers Sister and were a custom set built for her with Walnut Stained Oak Tops and Bottom Plates. They are in perfect working condition with a few cosmetic flaws.
On the back of the bottom plates connecters were changed out over time but then re installed in original location leaving two small holes in the back of the bottom plate. The fabric is in good condition but one speaker has a few pulls. These are slight but can be seen up close. The tops are in good condition and the speakers are just incredible sounding. You need spend many thousands today to get this type of openness, coherency and staging. . Speakers are about 14" in Diameter and 36" High and are of a low Q Cabinet design similar to the Harbeth Concept. . F3 is about 38Hz. Freq. Response is about 38-20,000 +/- 3 db.
