well worth the wait

greetings MR clan...awhile back I posted here inquiring about the possible synergy w/my speakers.  I have wondered about the RM10 for years & finally followed thru & bought a new unit from Roger & received it a week ago.  Right out of the box it was wonderful & my wife who has more capable hearing than I (motorcycles, loud music, over 50, etc.) said "it's much better in all ways".  a fellow audiophile buddy of mine came over & was shaking his head in positive affirmation after about 20 seconds into Brubeck's time out disc.  It's proved to be the best audio purchase I've made to date.  It's got it all...power, resolve, tone, extension & that dimensionality only tubes can create.

Thanks goes out to Roger for building such a masterpiece & for all the personal attention he gave me & my new amp (despite my pestering emails).  Keep at it my friend.  best & cheers Roger, PATRICK

yes welcome to the MR club. now you know what tubes are all about and why they are superior to solid state( might catch hell for that one).  give it about 200hrs to break in. if it has a detachable power cord i recommend getting a better one. do it after the break in.

rob.

ps. i am the happy owner of a RM9SE.

thanks for the good words. With the magazines shrinking and of dubious credibility I am depending on word of mouth, so keep talking.
