Can anyone recommend a company to buy a flat pack from?

Here is an ongoing list of companies that i have been able to locate so far.

- Elemental Designs  (http://www.edesignaudio.com/)
- Fallen Enclosures -  (Audio Circle Username - Outofthewoods)
-

I am looking for a flat pack of the AV-1RS and the V-2 speakers.

Thanks everyone!

So far the feedback from Elemental Designs has been very possitve.

Ruben (Outofthewoods) has been doing a great job as well. He has posted several times in this circle.

Just my experience with Edesignaudio  . Ordered a V2 flatpack on September 17th , promised to ship in November and than beginning of December. Never received the flat pack, they didn't answer E-Mails nor phone calls. Always overpromising and lying about the status. Last thing is that they deleted my account order and all my efforts to get a refund ended in silence. Still waiting for an answer from these guys ?
Beware , it cost me $425 on bad experience with Elemental Design !
Maybe you had more luck but I can't really say something good about this company !!

That's a real shame on your experience with Elemental.  I, unfortunately, had a similar experience trying to get them to build me a custom subwoofer enclosure.  I emailed, called, and did the live chat and was told someone would get back to me regarding my project.  I never heard anything back so I moved  on.  I think  the problem is they're just too busy with their own products to take on things like flat packs and custom builds.  No excuse for you getting screwed out of your money.  I didn't lose any cash, just had to find another enclosure builder.  I'm hoping to make something work with Fallen Enclosures sometime next year.

I have no personal experience with ED (no jokes, please) but have read several similar stories about long waits due to high volumes of orders.

I own speakers built by Ruben (outofthewoods), and couldn't be happier with them. He did a fantastic job on LARGE speakers and the fine detail on the finish is beyond my greatest expectations! I'd obviously recommend a finished product from him, but either way, he has been easy to work with and kept me in the loop while working on my project.

Check out that mirror finish!

just posted a few pics in the christmas setup thread if you want more shots...

Auralex Q-fusors painted black and installed according to a recommended pattern on their room analysis.

I had some quality issues with an assembled Super V cabinet.  Ordered 5-25 and shipped 9-20 this year.  The structural integrity was fine, joints tight, and so on.  With respect to fit and finish, no problem with fit, but finish was more of an issue.  Veneer was sanded through, glue was present on areas to be stained, and there were a couple of areas where cuts chipped the plywood.  These were finished locally, and drivers are not yet in place.

Wow, I had great response on quotes and orders for a built av-1rs enclosures and a flatpack from ED. They always got me a quote within two days and were very responsive to emails. Sounds like they have recently become too busy, that is too bad. However, Ruben sounds like he has been doing a great job.

OK , finally after 4 months waiting some miracles happened and I got my V2 flatpack sitting in front of my door !!
I already gave up but finally Alex from ED contacted me and apologized for all the mess !
At the end I'm happy that I got the material to proceed with my project.
All I have to say is thanks to the miracle , ... and especially thanks to Danny for his support :-)
