For about 3 weeks I have been loving my Panasonic DVD-F85 playing redbook.
TODAY...I pulled the cover from it to see the guts/
I am intrigued at the transport. It is spinning the CD much faster than a regular CD player. Even on the last track (slowest speed) it looks to be rotating the CD at least 4 times as fast. Maybe closer to 8 times faster on playback..I mean at 72 mins, it is hauling butt.
Fill me in folks..I know it upsamples to 24/96 but damn...it is hauling booty!!!
