If you have ever seen this TV in action, you know how good of a picture it produces.  Would love to keep (in fact, would prefer to keep), but our new place doesn't have the room for it.  Had the light engine and bulb replaced by a Loewe authorized tech about a year ago. Since then, TV has been used for maybe three hours.

Includes:

- Custom stand
- Remote (not used as we have a universal remote)
- Rear cable cover
- Original manual
- Screen cleaner
- Video cable adapter (DVI > VGA)

Have all paperwork on the TV including from when the light engine and new bulb were installed.

Due to the size/weight, I will not ship. Located in the Los Angeles area.

$1,500 $1,750 or will consider trade for cables (balanced interconnect, power).

Is this a 16:9 high definition set or the 4:3 standard definition set? Thanks.

16:9 HD.  Note that it is only 720, though it looks better than pretty much every 1080 set I've seen.

Also, the optics are glass (made by Zeiss) and the front is glass.  In most rear projection sets, these two pieces are typically made of plastic.

German made,,, you don't get much better than that.    Could you post the dimensions and if you could post a picture, that would be killer.

Couldn't agree more.  Just wish we had the room to keep it.

TV is 54" (W) x 41" (H) x 19.5" (D).  Weight is 182 lbs.   The stand is 54" (W) x 13.25" (H) x 22.5" (D).

What, no love for rear projection these days?  I have a Pioneer Elite plasma and spent some time with a NuVision panel as well.  Both are great sets, but neither come close to the picture quality of the Loewe.
