There was definitely surround sound.  Towards the back of the floor, there was another array of speakers.

Scott, THAT's why it was such a TERRIBLE move for you guys to sit that close.  The surround sound was drowned out by the unamplified sound coming from the stage. . . :rotflmao:

Saw the show in St. Paul at the Xcel Center Oct. 27. A true spectacle.
Were any of you expecting something more during the trial though...more than just projected images from the movie? I was sure there'd be a least one more huge inflatable of the judge or something...

"Are there any paranoids in Minneapolis tonight? Well this song's for you. It's called Run Like Hell."

In all my years of judging I have never seen before, someone so deserving of the full penalty of law...

I was at the Nassau Colisseum show w bob.  Best sound ever for a rock concert?  No need for earplugs, no distortion.

The graphics, the wall, the concept and execution were jaw dropping

The closest experience I've had to this production is live opera.  You know every note thats going to be played, every word that will be sung.

Is this the new classical music?  I think so.

While this is a mountain above tribute bands, the music that we fell in love with between 1960 and 1980 is coming back around in re-performance guise.  No different than going to Carnegie Hall for an evening of Beethoven?

My next door neighbor and myself saw The Wall in Vegas over the holiday weekend.  Not much more to say than what has already been said.  My advice for any Pink Floyd/Roger Water fan is to find a way to see this show!!  It is spectacular in everyway IMHO.   :thumb:

It's just a monster of a show. I actually went again the next night just because Roger needs the money. His girlfriend looked a little hormonal though!

Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell were highlights for me.
