Does anyone know what kind of 75R connector is suppose to be used on this?

That is one think I have never understood about vintage tuners.  Connectors are very odd and they each have something different.  I was thinking of putting in the F connector on the back panel but I thought I would just check to see what this was first.   Also, the 300R connector looks like it just takes straight wire, but wire isn't 300R!  What gives?

I realized that was impossible to see.... here is hopefully an easier picture to see.

I added a F-connector, works great.  Easiest mod I've done yet.

Josh,

The original housing is for a bare wire. You were supposed to strip down a certain length and insert the bare center conductor into the hole. Then the outer insulation would be removed from the shield.  The two screws would then be removed from the little metal bridge. You would then fasten the bridge over the bare shield and screw it back in place. This was designed so you didn't have to use an "F" connector.

A lot of the older tuners use the same type of connection with a screw for the center conductor.

Actually I started to guess that after I was already modding, but this will work just the same.  I just put the female F-connector next to the original and didn't disable the original.
