Bitches Brew double LP can be ordered from Barnes & Noble with a 25% off 1 item coupon R7M4R4C9UA0 for a nice price of $18.69 shipped to your house.  YMMV depending on tax rate.

I'm getting the invalid code message, tried it for the Beatles mono box, and then for the Bitches Brew album separately, any ideas? I'd love to get the Beatles set, missed it last week on sale.

After reading the fine print,  I have determined that this code will not work for you.   :duh:

AVOID IT! I went thru three before I got a good one, and several other folks have had the same problems. Discs are prone to be warped at the outter edges. It's also not an uncommon problem with other Legacey reissues either. But if you finally get a good set, you'll be happy!

I registered but no coupons. I did find a 20% that works though. I used B4D4P3U. Beatles mono box for $128ish including tax and free delivery :thumb:

Hey!

Hmmm... I wonder if this is digital or analog remastering?

I know it is hard to tell but I would prefer to buy vinyl that have been cut from analog source.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

over on one of the other boards there was a thread about the quality of the Legacey issues, and I can testify to this first hand. Warpage is the main issue, but others have had tracking issues as well. (this I have not had). All the warps are most always out on the outter lip of the record.

It's analog remastering from the original tape according to this Stereophile article.

Mine arrived flat without any warp.  There are couple of surface irregularities where the sheen is missing.  This is after vacuum cleaning but I am happy to report that they don't affect the sound.  Sound quality is great.  :thumb:

After listening, I placed the LPs in new MoFi inner sleeves.  This is my ritual for LPs that I think are great and deserve the best care.  8)
