Perhaps that was the issue on that other site, :duh:

Hey Marc, we AR/Grado guys need to stick together  . . .
Yet I'm from Detroit and the 1st college 'ball' game my dad took me to was the in the 'Big House' . . .  haven't live in Detroit since I was 9 though, I'm a Midwestern kid (the real Big Ten country) Wisconsin,  Ohio (one summer in Sandustky), Illinois, Indiana, then California, Far East, Near East, & Middle East (Thanks to good old Uncle Sam), Virginia (longest stint - 10 years)  and now back to Illinois.  Cheers,  Jim

How far did you live from the Callahan Auto Parts plant?  Tommy Boy stepping up and selling some brake pads really saved that town!

My dad is in Glen Oaks, sis in Syosset, Mom-in-Law in Stony Brook, relatives all over the tri-state area, still.

But, travel back is normally only 1-2x yearly as youngin's school gets in the way.

I was born in North Flushing, 164th Street...close to the Whitestone border, a few blocks from Bowne Park.  I still have a close bud in Bayside, too (don't see him much anymore, tho)

I'm a Westbury boy, college Stony Brook, med school NYU, trained in the Bronx. After 35 years, moved to Michigan.
