Gonna shed a tear but I'm selling my Classdaudio.com SDS254 and Connexelectronic SMPS500 Power Supply. I've gone full range and low power.
Just these modules, not an assembled amp. But these two are just as easy, in fact, easier to setup than the stock classdaudio SDS kit.
The SDS needs no intro. Outstanding amp, 250W (4ohms), balanced and unbalanced inputs.
Connex SMPS500R, 500W continuous. This is a terrific PS. Not a typical SMPS by any stretch and performance to my ears was better than modified conventional PS with 90,000uf caps and large toroid. Amazing bass control and speed, cleaner mids. Needless to say it is far, far better than the stock PS.
http://connexelectronic.com/product_info.php/products_id/118?osCsid=cn22dloqbn43utftjlvgk4qeh7As mentioned above, wiring these two is simpler than the stock classdaudio. And lighter. A lot lighter.
But wait, there's more!
I'll also add 4.7k Naked Vishay resistors for the fixed resistor mod. This is equal to halfway volume with stock pots. I also have Riken (3.3k) and Shinkohs (don't remember the value but <500ohm). They're already fastened to connectors, so all you have to do is slide them onto the board.
Sorry, no steak knives.
