Very sad news as I've used his design for years now.  It was my first amp when I was 7 yrs old that my dad built for me.

RIP Dr. Leach.  I owned and enjoyed one of his amps back in the day.  It was a superb SS  amp, in the days of funky equipment that would self destruct without notice.  I wonder how many of today's top audio engineers were gifted by standing in his shadow?

It's a sad day...
I built 7 of Dr. Leach's "Double Barrell" mono blocks that I use dailey in my Home Theater set up and I love them.
They are a great amp for the diy'er and hard to beat even today...
