I've been elected photo-dad for my daughter's club volleyball team.  I'll likely need to upload several thousand pics between now and the Junior Olympics/National Championships in July.

I have a photobucket account but is seems very limited.  Any thoughts?

Tom,
Great pics.

I love the old versus new thing that you have going on in many of your compositions.

Years ago I used Webshots. Wasn't impressed.

I current use Photobucket and am VERY happy. I've got several hundred photos on there now, and haven't come close to maxing out my free bandwidth.  Paying for it would increase my capacity, of course. Seems to be very flexible for my uses.
Why do you feel it's limited?

  • I'm just not right!
I use flckr at work.  We load so many that we went to the pro version.

A word of advice...........learn to trim the photos down to a few hundred of the best.  We had a group recently that pooled all of the high-school football photos, and people just wouldn't slog through that many.  Be brutal in your editing; it'll keep people excited.

Try smugmug.  This is what the Pro uses. ;)

I use Imageshack. It's free so not the best, but adequate.  8)

Most likely because I don't know what I'm doing.   :D  I'll fiddle around with PB this weekend.

 I know where you're coming from EDS, I feel your pain.

I do like PB though. I can't think of a single thing I want that it doesn't already give (for free).
In fact, just to show off some of it's bells and whistles, >> HERE << is a slideshow of my last vacation in Utah.
You can watch 'as-is', or speed up the pictures, slow them down, or full screen them.
Pretty neat website. Like I said, I can't ask for more from them. I've actually thought about upgrading to the "pay" version, just because I feel guilty they let me use their excellent product for so long for free.
