Sweet Sound of the RM40

After several years of wishful thinking, I finally got a chance to hear the RM40's. I'll simply fast forward to the bottom line -- they were, by far, the best speakers I've ever heard. The detail in the bass was astonishing. In fact, I didn't know it was possible to effortlessly reproduce the level of nuances the RM40 revealed in the bass. Likewise, the clarity and detail of all of the instruments was the best I've heard. And, of course, just based on the sheer size of the speakers, I expected a huge soundstage and that's what I experienced. In addition, the RM40's provided extraordinarily natural vocals and a tremendous dynamic range. I want these speakers, dammit!

We still have cherry RM40Jr's in stock, same as regular RM40 without the CDWG.  JC can fill you in.

If you think a pair of RM-40s sound teriffic you should hear a trio set up in trinaural mode - they will blow your mind! (see my pm)

Hi all,
I'm just waiting for the new woofer implementation to become reality.then this would probably reinvigorate my temporarily closeted 40s. I have faith in Brian to actually bring this into fruition. I'm currently rolling modded vintage speakers with much satisfaction.

Go Brian, Stan
