Looking to sell my much enjoyed McIntosh MC275. This is the series 4 version, meaning it's one of the newer re-issue amps. This version came with terminal strips instead of binding posts and has the adjustable gain for each channel to allow perfect channel balance.
This amp has had the terminal strips replaced with Superior Electric binding posts but I'd be happy to put the terminal strips back on if the buyer should desire them. They will be included either way.
I will include two sets of McIntosh branded KT-88 output tubes and will include a set of Sovtek or Svetlana as well, not sure which ones I have but will update this after I get home tonight. I believe all the small signal tubes are NOS such as Siemens, again I'll see exactly what I have in there and update the post.
The MC275 is rated for 75WPC into 8 ohms. I have measured this amp and it will manage an honest 85W before visible clipping on the scope, essentially matching the measurements published in Stereophile. Perfect operating condition and very good but not perfect cosmetic condition. The tube cage has a little dent in it and I think one of the transformer covers has a small scratch. I'll take more photos tonight and update this thread.

Lastly, I have a matched quad of Penta Labs KT-88's with low hours and a set Herbies tube dampers on the amp. The original teflon/silicone on the small signal tubes and 2 each of the newer Ultrasonic dampers for the KT-88's. For $250 I will include the Penta Labs tubes and the all the Herbies dampers.
