These are terrific interconnects. AH has been selling these for a few years now on ebay. Gold, copper, silver alloy. I took a chance on them a few months ago as not too many people know about them, and they exceeded my expectations. Warm but clear and the midrange is very nice. But thanks to that Parts Express firesale I've got new speaker projects to fund so I am putting these up. He only sells this older version used (new version is $300). 1) The inclusion of N-gel ™ inside of the Teflon tubing. N-gel ™ is a mineral oil based nitrogen filled gel which reduces micro vibration in the interconnect and seals the wire from any possible tarnish throughout the years of use.
2) A new mechanical braiding machine which makes production more efficient and produces a very even repeatable braid.
3) A carbon impregnated outer jacket which not only looks great but protects the braid from possible mechanical damage.
4) The addition of Sound Connections 808 series upgraded RCA connectors.
The addition of these changes have had a positive effect on the interconnects sound qualities, the most marked improvement is a tighter, more focused center image. Another easily heard improvement is the midrange liquidity and bottom end extension due to the addition of the 808 series RCA ends. Happily, the top end remains as smooth and extended as the original Baby interconnect.

Each pair is constructed using 21 feet of our Gold Alloy 24ga. wire in Teflon tubing which is braided into a 3 wire configuration ( 1 for +, 2 for -) The wire is a combination of Silver, Copper and Gold. ( some have asked... no, this is NOT gold-filled jewelry wire, that wire is made of brass and has a gold overlay) The percentage of each metal used in the wire was determined regarding its particular and unique conductivity. The Silver is 99.999% (5n) purity shot which was chosen so the addition of Copper quality could be controlled, the Gold used to finalize the formula is of fined 24kt purity. The wire making process begins with us supplying the Silver and Gold shot to the wire manufacturer, they in turn supply the Copper shot. The shot is blended, melted and is drawn into wire then polished in California. The finished wire is then sent to the plating company in New Jersey where a 24kt Gold finish is applied to the surface of the wire. When we finally receive the finished wire it is taken to be Cryo-treated by a company 8 miles from our location. The cryo company uses equipment supplied by Cold Fire http://www.coldfire.com
