I have an HK HD7500 cd player which has given me excellent service & I would like opinions if there are any worthwhile upgrades to this player that can make it even better. It was well respected in its day but that was long ago & while it still sounds good I want to bring it up a few notches......or more.

Cap swaps, opamp swaps? All Cheap & cheerful suggestions will be entertained. Ease of getting it done will be a plus!

Isn't this more for the Lab?

Probably a lot of SMDs in there. Dunno if it's worthwhile messing with it unless you're real handy with an iron. Depending on the DAC it uses, maybe Lampizator mods.

It would probably help to take some pics of the inside and give a little more detailed info on the internal components and specs, etc.

I guesss it would be better for this thread to be moved to the Lab. I wasn't sure.

I will take a few pics, HK HD7850, and if possible my YBA cd player as well.
