Hi all...

I'm very interested in getting into DIY speaker and sub.  However, I have absolutely no woodworking skills or tools.  Getting the cabinet is my only obstacle.  Well, that and veneer but I guess could learn veneer easily.  I live in Seattle, Wa.  Anyone know anybody around here that does full enclosure or at least a flat pak.  I can deal with elemental design but suspect shipping will be expensive.

You enter your zip and get a list of cabinet makers.  You could at least see if any of them can do speaker cabinets

Because of the down-turn in the housing market and economy, I would think that if you had the plans in hand, you could find a local small kitchen cabinet shop that could make them for you. You could then paint or veneer them.

If you want to learn in how to make a DIY cabinet, you must undergo with different tutorials. You can get the tutorials through online searching. However, you must start with the basic and familiar raw materials in making a cabinet.

Try SpeakerLab, cabinets alone are not their specialty, but they might be flexible....  Been around for a long time, and have had them recone two pairs of speakers. Good work, reasonable price. North U District & Georgetown on 'south'.
