Hello all,
One of my Carver TFM-25 amps has a problem: When I power it up, the right power meter spikes and it's accompanied by a popping noise from the right channel. Sometimes it will then play OK until I shut it off and sometimes the protective circuitry kicks in a shuts the amp down. I can recap stuff or R&R parts and also do basic checks with a DVM but but I'm lost when it comes to troubleshooting a malfunction. Anyone got any idea what the problem is with my beloved Carver?
