Travel headphone recommendation (iPhone use, over-ear type)

Greetings, everyone.

I'd like like to upgrade from the stock iPhone headphones a bit and am looking for suggestions.  I've searched the internet a bit, but haven't found an overwhelming consensus.

Some guidelines:

1) These need to be portable as the intent is to travel with them, so they can't be overly large and must fold to a compact size  (I already have a pair of AKG701s at work, where I'm not moving around with them.)
2) I'm not a fan of the in-canal headphones.  I know they offer some of the greatest frequency range and best sound quality, but I just don't like the feeling of having something in my ears.  I haven't tried many, and never any of the nicest ones, but the feeling has been consistent among the few I've tried.
3) I'll keep the stock iPhone headphones for phone conversation use.  The new headphones are aimed at music only, so I don't need to compromise there (if there are any).
4) These will be powered by the iPhone directly.  I don't expect to get a portable amp at this time, though I might eventually.
5) I don't need to worry about sports activities with these.  I'll grab a pair of the Sennheiser PMX 680s for workouts (and try to accept the high frequency rolloff).

Any suggestions?

Many thanks!

Koss Porta-Pro's or Koss Sporta-Pro's. I really can't tell any difference in sound between the two and the Sporta's are cheaper by almost half. Amazon has both.

On top of that Koss has a lifetime warantee. if anything goes wrong (broken jack/cord/earpiece, etc) just send them back to Koss with a $6 check and they will replace them for you. I think I'm on my 3rd set over the last 10 years. Great sound too.

Enjoy,
Bob

Thanks, guys!

I'm familiar with Koss, though not any of the recent models.  (Their billboards in Milwaukee are virtual landmarks.)

Yuin, however, I know nothing about.  Time to hit Google...

Boy, looking at the frequency response plots on headroom is kinda depressing...  Darn physics!

Any other suggestions out there?

Thanks!

Sennheiser's HD 280 Pro

Great for travel, over the ear, closed backs, folds nicely.     They are no hd600s, but great to travel with if you don't prefer in ear/buds.
