Is The Transporter Discontinued?

Is the Logitech Transporter discontinued?  It seems that the price has gone down some and I believe I read that it is discontinued.  If so, why so?  What is the better mousetrap now?

Many of the parts used in the Transporter are no longer made. Specifically the displays.

The Touch is natively 24/96. It is VERY good for sp/dif output to a good DAC.

Slim Devices designed and had the Transporter built. After Logitech bought Slim Devices, the focus of their offerings changed from the audiophile market.
