What are the benefits of the new upgrades we just announced for the Ultra premaps and DAC?
A big improvement in musical transparency and emotion presentation. An extended but more musical top end. Its all pretty subjective, and unfortunately makes me feel like I am talking about a better speaker wire or fuse because I cannot offer much significant hard engineering data.
However the gate capacitance of the device used in our patented transimpedance amplifier section did change a lot with the new devices, as did thermal capacity and current capacity. This does provide better linear current drive from the circuits and obviously that must have been a previous limitation.
