Amazon has these on sale for $119,98, from Audio Advisor. These are the IEMs I have and I love them, very detailed, excellent bass performance.

FYI, I believe Klipsch has discontinued the X-5.

How is the outside noise attenuation in comparison for things like the etymotic E4RPs?

I've never used any Etymotics, so I can't say. However, I have been very happy with the isolation of the X-5s on buses and planes. I can't use them at work because it is too good, I can't hear co-workers or my phone, unless I jack the ring volume way up.
