We have compared the Juice against the Cardas Golden Reference, the Audience Power Cord, the PS Audio Statement and the JPS Labs Digital AC. The comparisons took place in our Cary SET monoblocs, EAR 868 preamp, Esoteric SA60 and from the wall to our PS Audio Quintet. Every position yielded a noticeable improvement over all the above mentioned cords with the biggest being from the wall to the PS Audio Quintet. Second biggest from the PS Audio Quintet to the Cary's. BTW, the Cardas came in second. Juice is a 2X12 ga. copper Litz hot and neutral and a 14 ga. ground utilizing PTFE/cotton/air as the dielectric.
Overall, the improvements came in the areas of decreased noise, increased low level detail, improved LF extension and definition, a tightening up of the images within the soundtage, expanded soundtage, mostly in depth with an improved layering front to back. With the Juice in use throughout the entire system, we feel that perfomance has been elevated to a degree that is simply astonishing. You be the judge.
