I pulled the trigger and purchased a pair of Synergy/Create 300B tubes for my SET integrated amp. Communication/shipping, etc. was very professional and satisfactory. I had read and reread the two reviews out there on these tubes (sixmoons) and even corresponded with the Polish reviewer, prior to deciding to buy.
Please keep in mind that the ONLY other SET/300B experience I've had is with running the Black Treasures in my Grant Fidelity A-534B amp....and I still very much like the sound of the Treasures. I'm just an admitted tuberolling junkie

, plus I was certainly interested in finding out whether other tubes at a bit lower price ($400 for matched pair, plus shipping) would give me satisfactory sound.
I now have around 100-120 hours on the Synergy tubes. At first the bass/bottom end was not fleshed out enough, but that fairly quickly changed after around 30-40 hours. I think these tubes are really, really good. The frequency extremes, both bass and the high end, seem to me to be a bit tighter and more extended than the Treasures. They may lack a bit of the romantic midrange warmth I hear in the Treasures (and which I like), but I would guess that these tubes are more linear. Both are very good to my ears, and at this point I couldn't even pick an all-around winner, but they are somewhat different sounding. Although I've never heard the much more expensive EML 300B's and similar, from what I've read from the reviews, I'm guessing that the Synergy tubes sound closer to that sound than the Treasures do.
Basically I just wanted to share a very positive experience with the Synergy tubes and encourage anyone considering these to possibly give them a try. I note that at least one of the reviews on 6moons raves about the Synergy 6sn7 tubes even more than the 300B's....I haven't tried the Synergy 6sn7's.....yet

.
I would love to hear from any others that have tried the Synergy tubes.
