Awhile ago I sold my Fet Valve Ultra 550. Shortly after, I realized I made a mistake. I had a TAD tube amp and really liked it. Figured the tube amp would suite my small room better. But...I just wasn't listening to music as much and I did with Franks amp. Sooo, I now am a proud owner of a Ultra 350! I also have the T-8 pre-amp which made such a big difference. Between the 350 and the 550, I really can't tell much of a difference. I am one happy camper.

If you ordered the 350 with the double option, then it would have been like having a 550 again.

Ah, that's what it's all about. The exploration is part of the journey! It would be great to hear from you about what you heard when you got this amp family back into your audio chain.

trebejo, the biggest thing I heard and like was the bass. Both the kick drum and bass guitar is much better now. Since I mostly listen to Rock, I just prefer the better bass with my new amp. I am done buying new gear. I might have frank update my pre-amp and amp but that's it. It's about the music, not the gear.
