I dont own a bcd-1 (i have a sony s7700 empirical audio modded unit) but i was wandering what Bryston recommends to do in keepin clean the lens of their cd players. Is there a cleaning disc that Bryston can recommend. My unit hasnt been cleaned and i would like to get it done.

Hi Werd,

Unless you live in a very dusty environment or you've got a top loader which exposes the lens assembly, lens cleaning should be rare.
If you do think your lens needs cleaning, use a lens cleaning solution from a photo shop and a Q Tip, it's a delicate operation.
