If I didn't just buy Ascend Sierra-1's, I would have been interested. I believe these were $1500 retail new with the Birdseye finish, right?

Beautiful speakers.  Where I you located?  Sometimes that helps.  Even though I may not be in the market (doesn't mean I couldn't have my arm twisted under circumstances - I have been know to take a couple of hour ride not being in the market and buy something), I may know someone.
